Another show done and dusted. Big ups to all involved and for the hard work. Jay, well done on that HUGE number bro. You make us proud to be part of your team. To all the those who blew equipment (Sakkie or is it smokey), come back bigger and better. To the newbies and the other trophy winners. Well done. The Lupinis, the food was awesome guys. Last but not least, thanks to all the crews, competitors and spectators who supported us. See you at the next show.

howdy all
Since we all big into sound and stuff, the racing has been starting to gather some webs.
What do guys think of organizing a 1km dice at ODI raceway?
1. No full on drag cars.
2. Street tires only.
3. can dice anyone.
Give me some feedback.
Thanx.

VW Instrument Panels - a bodger's guide
Back in the late 1970s, Volkswagen was an early pioneer in the use of electronics in vehicle instrumentation. The systems used were fairly primitive - just a handful of transistors and a few diodes - but meant that instrument wiring could be greatly simplified, with additional functions…

Port Length
The port length required to tune a volume of air to a specific frequency can be calculated by using the following equation:
Lv = (23562.5*Dv^2*Np/(Fb^2*Vb))-(k*Dv)
where,
Dv = port diameter (cm)
Fb = tuning frequency (Hz)
Vb = net volume (litres)
Lv = length of each port (cm)
Np = number of ports
k = end…
To calculate the power response of a ported enclosure system, you will need to know the following: Vas = equivalent compliance of driver (litres)
Qes = electrical Q of driver at resonance
Fs = resonance frequency of driver (Hz)
PEmax = maximum input power for driver
Fb = resonance frequency of the system
F3 = frequency at which response is down by -3dB
Dia = effective driver diameter driver (cm)
Xmax = peak linear displacement…
